Mold: The Ugly Side of Beauty Print E-mail
Written by SuperMold
Inspectors and police said they uncovered ventilation problems, mold, ongoing construction without permits and leaks.

Where? On a beauty salon.

Police and other officials walked into a handful of Roslindale hair and nail salons Tuesday. They found the ugly side of beauty.

In the meantime, Connecticut residents are taking mold issues to Washington.

Connecticut has indoor air quality legislation in place. Nevertheless, Connecticut Foundation for Environmentally Safe Schools (ConnFESS), a local group formerly known as the Canary Committee, are continuing to try to help others avoid the problems that her children and others throughout the country have experienced.

Last month, a handful of local members of the group traveled to Washington, D.C., for a congressional briefing and national press conference about a bill designed to prevent, and deal with the effects of mold, like mold allergies.

Meanwhile, somebody is marketing a anti-mold bed.
HealthSmart(TM) Bed is currently the only mattress that reduces dust mites, mold and fungal spores through the use of proper washing techniques.
